How I Survived, Changed & Adapted In My First Year Of Grief
Monday Sep 23, 2019
Monday Sep 23, 2019
In this episode I go through all the things I did in the first year of grief to help me survive it. My brother was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2015 and as his main carer my heart, life and soul had become about him. After losing him late last year, I felt not only a deep sense of loss physically, but also a loss of my identity and purpose in life. I had no idea who I was without him. This podcast discusses what I've done over the past year that has helped me grown and adapt to one of the hardest things I've ever had to see and go through in my life. I reflect on how I journaled, set goals and really sat with myself and delved into everything my beautiful brother had taught me and how I was going to carry that forward and rebuild from rock bottom.

Welcome To The Searching For Better Podcast - Intro Ep
Wednesday Sep 11, 2019
Wednesday Sep 11, 2019
Searching For Better is a self help podcast I created about finding ourselves and our path in life and living it wholeheartedly. Through story telling with a hint of humour and some (attempted) funny sarcasm I search for and discuss ideas around self love, self empowerment, mind-body wellness, happiness, motivation and one of our biggest personal hurdles - loss. I talk about simple, small ideas to make daily changes that can help us become the people we really want to be. In a nut shell, to find our path and to live it. So join me! Let’s talk about simple ways we can change our path, find our paths and/or most importantly find ourselves so we can live a truly empowering, authentic and wholehearted life.
